Toss report: Match 67 - KXIP vs DC

Dharamsala, May 21: Adam Gilchrist won the toss and elected to field first at the picturesque Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamasala.
Deccan Chargers have made a couple of changes and so have KXIP, who are eyeing a slot in the Playoffs. KXIP have brought in Bhargav Bhatt and Ryan McLaren. DC skipper Kumar Sangakkara has departed for national duty while Ishant Sharma sits out.
Captain speak:
Adam Gilchrist (KXIP):
On winning the toss and choosing to bowl first: We are going to focus on winning and tactically that’s a right move for today.
On his match winning knock in the previous game: It was a great moment for us. The win kept us alive in the tournament. Nothing much changes today. We have got to produce that [performance] again today.
On the three days off being a help or hindrance: Three days [of rest] was perfect. We have had a really hectic schedule till that point. It was just enough time to relax freshen up and focus on this match.
On the pitch: It's not the one we played the last two games on. There's grass there, but it's brown sandy coloured grass as opposed to the green of the other wicket. Looks like a really nice wicket.
Cameroon White (DC):
On losing the toss: I think the pitch will stay the same and play well.
On the frustrating season: It's been the story of our season. Really up and down and inconsistent. It's a chance for us to combine our skills and we hope to hope to do that.
On the wicket: The pitch has been really nice. Obviously this one here looks good. Hopefully today is the day.
On captaincy: It's a good opportunity for me.
Playing XIs:
